Ana is a Sr. Accounting Manager and has been with Optima for about 6 months.
She served in the Marine Corps for 8 years where she traveled all through the U.S., Pakistan, Iraq, and Japan. She has a double Bachelor’s in Finance/Accountancy as well as her MBA. She has experience with private industries, non-profits, government, and manufacturing.
She loves being able to give management customized financial outlooks since everyone learns and likes to see data in different ways. Also, she likes to research and analyze ways to improve the way they close the month to make the process as efficient as possible, as well as train co-workers in different aspects of accounting.
Her favorite pastimes outside of work are traveling with my family, reading, and just to be outside either hiking, swimming, biking, or snowboarding. She is currently training for a triathlon in October and leading her daughter’s girl scout troop where she is hoping to take her girls to the snow next Winter.
