Donna's official role title with Optima Office is "Office and Marketing Coordinator," but she has unofficially changed it to "Director of Joy." She has been with Optima for a combined period of almost 14 months and LOVES being the Director of Joy. Donna is a San Diego native. She grew up in beautiful Pacific Beach—go Mission Bay Bucs!
Donna appreciates how well Optima employees are taken care of. She truly feels that their happiness matters to the executive board. The fact that Donna unofficially changed her work title and people seem to have accepted it proves her point. Happy Staff = Happy Clients! She enjoys working with a fun and kind team, where they all appreciate her. She is also grateful for the work/life balance Optima Office allows. She is thankful that time off is always respected and it is understood they all have lives outside the office.
Donna LOVES making people happy and always likes to leave them with a smile 😄. Making everyone's day a little brighter, accomplishing a task with her team, getting supplies, or helping with a meeting are some of the things that make her joyful at work. Her "momma" is from the South and Donna's work background is in hospitality, so helping people and having parties is in her blood. She is a people-person (Surprise! Surprise!) and this job lets her meet so many interesting people! She LOVES going to a client's office and bringing them joy.
Donna's #1 favorite thing to do is travel with her family and friends—she wants to see more of America and the world! She also loves live comedy, going to the movies, hiking with her dog Daisy, and watching the San Diego Padres. BUT, what is taking up a lot of her free time, joyfully, is creating and selling blank note cards. She is combining her love for Photography, turning writing handwritten notes and snail mail into a little business. It is called Happy Tan Feet Creations. Who doesn't love getting a handwritten note in the mail? They also make great gifts!
