What You Will Do

As a Senior Accountant at Optima Office, you will work directly with client teams to manage accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and improve processes. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of industries, systems, and business models — no two days are exactly the same.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and maintaining financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations

• Supporting month-end close, fixed asset tracking, and margin analysis

• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

• Managing client invoicing, payroll, and accounts receivable when needed

• Communicating directly with clients to deliver insights and updates

• Using accounting platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Yardi, and others

• Partnering with leadership and CPAs to support client goals


What We Are Looking For

We’re seeking someone who blends technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong communication. You should be confident working independently and ready to lead.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement prep

• Experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks, Appfolio, NetSuite, or similar

• CPA certification is a plus but not required

• Great attention to detail and time management

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Salary range: $26 to $36 per hour based on experience
