Meet Jodi Boisseree: June Team Spotlight

admin

Jodi Boisseree is from Santa Cruz, where she grew up with her three sisters and one brother. She received her business degree with an emphasis in accounting, from Chico State University.

Jodi relocated to San Diego as a finance manager for a private financial services company, where she spent fifteen years. She advanced her position to Director of Operations & Finance and oversaw 3/5’s of the company’s departments. This past February, she started her new career with Optima Office, after her previous company was acquired.

Jodi’s is a Senior Controller for Optima Office and spends most of her time working as the Controller and Director of Operations. Her favorite aspect about Optima Office is the atmosphere created by the internal team.

“I absolutely love the internal team at Optima. The energy everyone brings into the office makes for a fun and upbeat place to work. I feel very fortunate to have been added to this awesome team,” said Jodi.

She has a daughter named Charlotte who will be two years old in August. This September, Jodi and her husband will be welcoming another daughter into the world. If she’s not working or running, she's spending time with her family.

To this day Jodi has ran thirteen half marathons, two full marathons and countless 5k and 10k races. “Running for me is like free therapy.  There is nothing that I may be struggling with internally that can’t be helped with a run down at the bay.”

After spending a semester in Beijing China, Jodi discover her love for world travel. Since then she has traveled to twenty countries and hopes to double that list someday.

Jodi's has found that the most challenging times in her life has shaped her into being a better person. A quote she resonates with is,“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations”.

Six years ago her father was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer. We are happy to report he is in full remission today. That experience has brought her family even closer together.  Each moment is a gift, and each day a blessing. Jodi said, “We remind ourselves of the importance of today and try and get together as much as we can, because life is a gift we are given and it should be celebrated every chance you get.”
