March Team Spotlight: Meet Julia Rodriguez-Germes

Julia is an Accounting Manager at Optima Office, and she has been working here since August of 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance from San Diego State University.

Julia is a consistently diligent professional that strives for maintaining the integrity of financial reports. She has experience in the theme park operations, government contracting, hospitality, and public transit industries. With over nine years of progressive responsibilities, Julia’s experience includes month-end close processes, financial reporting and analysis, budgets, grant funding, process analysis, and collaborating with external partners to facilitate timely filing of reports. Having had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, Julia understands the importance of relationship-building to achieve successful results. She also has a lot of knowledge using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 

One thing that gives Julia a lot of satisfaction at work is seeing how efficient and organized processes can be once the right systems are implemented.

Julia's favorite pastime outside of work is spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
