September Team Spotlight: Meet Anne Nolie

Anne Nolie was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent most of her summers traveling to Colorado with her family. When the time came to go to college, she attended Colorado State University (CSU) and studied Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. After graduating from CSU, Anne continued to chase the sunshine and headed out to San Diego.

She started her career as an auditor in public accounting for four years. Anne obtained her CPA license and moved to New York to work in the media industry. She worked for a magazine publisher and the next six years of her life were spent flying between the cities of New York, Santa Monica, and San Francisco. Anne and her husband had their first child while living in San Francisco. They decided to head back to the North Country San Diego suburbs to raise their family.

Anne has been working with Optima Office for almost three years. She is a Controller greatly appreciates the work/balance Optima happily provides. She states the following about Optima’s culture: “Optima has given me the opportunity to continue working in the space I know and love, while still being able to balance my time with my family. The team here at Optima is amazing and has created an environment for continued learning and growth!”

Outside of Optima, Anne, her husband, and two children love to travel and spend time outdoors. Their home in Cardiff-by-the-Sea keeps them connected with nature and hungry for adventures. This past summer the family spent two weeks road tripping between Park City, Utah and Glacier in Montana. They live less than a mile from the beach; most of her weekends and free time are spent there by the ocean. When Anne’s not working or beaching it up, she serves as an Uber driver for her kids, taking them to and from dance, soccer, and football practices.

Despite how chaotic life gets, Anne is always sure to remind herself to slow down, and simply be present in the moment.
