Q: What is HR6201?
A: HR 6201 is commonly referred to as Families First Coronavirus Response Act. It was passed on 3/18/20 as a means of providing some relief to employees facing difficulties due to COVID-19. This law is applicable to companies with 500 or fewer employees and provides new benefits under 2 separate provisions EPLSA – Emergency Paid Sick Leave and E-FMLA Expanded Family and Medical Leave. A: The Optimal SBA Task Force is comprised of a team of individuals that range from Staff Accountant all the way up to CFO who are available to assist companies at every level in the pursuit of loans for temporary financial assistance to COVID-19.
