Jilian Dimitt, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Human Resources Director
Since Jilian Dimitt, Head of Optima Office’s HR, joined in mid-August 2019, she has been working hard to put a team together to better assist our clients with HR needs and provide the best HR benefits for our employees.
Jilian joined the Optima Office team with more than 25 years of HR management experience having worked as an HR Manager and HR Director for many companies in a variety of industries. Most recently, she has spent the last 5 years working as an HR Consultant to small and midsize businesses. She enjoys consulting as it allows her to reach a larger group of people and share her HR knowledge. Jilian works with clients, both onsite and remote, handling a variety of responsibilities including employee relations, leave administration, policies and procedures, handbooks, audits, recruitment, and labor law compliance.
Jennifer Koch, Human Resources Manager
Jennifer joined the Optima Office Team with more than 20 years of executing and managing a wide range of Human Resource functions and roles. She is an experienced HR professional with strong skills in areas such as, Employee Relations, Successful Talent Acquisition and Retention, Training and Development, Policy/Procedure Development and Compliance, Best Practices Management, Benefits Administration, Employee Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Performance and Continuous Improvement.
Jenn is the newest member of the HR team. She’s has begun working on recruiting projects for our clients. In addition, Jenn has recently taken over the new employee onboarding process and will continue to add more responsibilities to her plate as her tenure continues.
Lani has a combined 10 years of accounting and banking experience. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and originally planned on going into law but found her niche in the accounting world instead.
She enjoys going to the beach with her family and running half marathons. She looks forward to completing her Accounting Certificate at UCSD by the Summer of 2021.
Lani is an Optima Office Accounting Manager and the person who normally reaches out to clients for anything “Time Clock Go” related. She has recently begun working with the HR team helping with the new benefit programs that went into effect January 1st. It is so nice to have a group of employees who want to make the work environment the best it can be.
Gwen Abrams, HR Manager
Gwen Abrams is the HR Manager at Optima Office, in Phoenix, AZ. Gwen began working in the Human Resouce environment in 2006. Gwen's specialized expertise is in Full Cycle Recruiting, Audit & Compliance, Benefits Administration, Implementing data in various software and Administrative support to Executive Leadership with small and midsize companies. Prior to coming to Optima Office, Gwen served as a member of the Talent Acquisition team at a Financial Institution auditing interview guides to maintain compliance with the EEOC and as a Talent Agent with a Manufacturing company. Gwen studied at the University of Phoenix and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Human Resource Management certificate. Gwen Abrams is also the VP of Administration with the National Association of African Americans in HR, Arizona Chapter, a non-profit organization.
